Erin K. | Grade 11

Q: If you could tell the entire world one thing, what would it be?

A: Don't try to be someone you aren't. It's way more fun to have people think you're weird, rather than boring.

Q: What is your greatest concern at this point in your life?

A: My greatest concern would be that I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I'm just kind of floating around trying to find out what I like and don't like. I think the impending doom that is university is really concerning as well. If I don't know what I like, I can't choose a program, and then I can't choose a university. It's a never-ending cycle of worry, all centred around the future.

Q: What was the happiest moment in your life?

A: Oh god, that's really deep. The happiest moment of my life would have to have been going to Panama. There was a moment where we just climbed part of Volcan Baru, and I looked over the mountains and just felt totally content. I can't really explain it, but it was just a moment of pure elation that I was somewhere new, doing something different.
