Q: Can you give a little preview of what your one act is about? A: My one act is essentially about an out of work psychologist who traps six strangers in a room, telling them that the only way they can leave the room is if someone dies. It is less of a bad slasher movie, and more of a thriller that looks at humanity and morality. I wanted to write something that makes people think, and even feel as though they are in the same situation as the characters. I hope that that works out.
Q: What can the audience look forward to? A: People can looks forward to well rehearsed, student written plays. Everyone in the class is very committed and genuinely enjoys what they are doing, and the audience will surely be able to see that throughout the night.
Q: What is the night all about? A: The night is honestly about celebrating the four years we have been drama students. While we showcased our acting talents through last year’s synergy, this year we are also able to showcase our writing, something I am very passionate about. These four years have been a blast, and this night is wrapping it all together.
